Beachfront Dining

We would like to find a quaint little restaurant directly on the beach overlooking the gulf. Any suggestions?

Beachfront Dining

we are actually staying on Siesta Key if that helps...but anywhere between St. Pete and Venice will work!

Beachfront Dining

I would head up to Anna Maria Island.

Not a lot of beach front restaurants on Siesta Key.

You can read the dining reviews on tripadvisor.

I like Moore Stone Crab on the north end of Longboat..but is is on the bay side not the beach. Great food and an old florida feel.

Hi Lisa,

In venice sharkey%26#39;s on the pier is great. they have 2 menus, 1 insude menu and 1 outside menu. the inside menu is a full restaurant menu, REALLY awesome food, very casual. The outside menu is an extended bar menu, sandwiches, wraps, fish %26amp; chips. It is on the beach, has a band play at night and a 2floor bar area. Really worth the trip, it%26#39;s a bout 30 minutes from the south bridge of siesta.

There are three restaurants on anna maria that are owned by the same company, to find out about them go to www.groupersandwich.com. The beach house is one of the restaurants and is awesome, has seating right on the beach and they serve a full menu even at the beach seating. It%26#39;s really awesome. The sandbar is further north on anna maria, I haven%26#39;t been to this one. Marvista is on the bay of longboat key (same company) but i haven%26#39;t been there either. check out the website for all info. I think those will be your best bet.
