Adult Tricycles

After a lot of consideration we%26#39;ve decided that adult tricycles might be a good bet for my wife and I while we%26#39;re in KW. (OK all you Harley riders quit laughing!) Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they comfortable to ride? Is there anyplace in KW that rents them with all the lights, locks, baskets, etc. that you might want while down there? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

A couple of my friends rented one and said that they were fun. The only draw back was they are noisey and very low to the ground so you get exhaust fumes from cars in front of you when sitting at a light.

We rented them last time we were in KW. I don%26#39;t remember where we rented them from, but they were FUN, FUN, FUN!!! We rode all over the place with them.

Are you talking about the Sun Trikes or actual three wheeled cycles? There are a couple of places that rent actual tricycles--we had to look into this last year because a traveling companion is unable to ride a bicycle, and we always rent bicycles in Key West. What%26#39;s a Sun Trike?

A Sun Trike is a little electric car, open, with three wheels (two in front, one in back). If you follow the link that PJK posted, there is a photo of one.
