Turtle Beach Resort

Looking for a nice resort for a small private wedding.. Anybody have an opinions or experiences(good or bad) on the Turtle Beach Resort? Is this an all inclusive resort where everything including food is included in the price? Any other resorts or quiet private locations I should be considering in the Sarasota area or even a bit south down to the Venice area?

Turtle Beach Resort

What month are you planning to come here?

How small is the wedding?

What price range?

There are lots of options.

Turtle Beach Resort

Currently doing some planning for a March-April 07 wedding, haven%26#39;t narrowed down an exact week as of yet. Just a private ceremony with me and my fiance. Would like to stay under 2k for a week stay or is there any place that will accept reservations less than a week, say 4 or 5 days? Any help would be appreciated!

March-April is a good time to come to Sarasota. Prices in some places drop after mid-April. (Many people live in the area for 6 months of the year and leave around April-May.)

The good news is you have lots of time to plan!

There are lots of places that could fit your needs. What would be your ';ideal'; spot, if you could describe it?

(As fate would have it, I am going to a small wedding on Siesta Key in May.)

Well, my ideal spot would be right on the Gulf, quiet with at least a little privacy and not to crowded with nearby shops and restaurants. The Turtle Beach Resort seems like a possibility.. Any thoughts on that or other suggestions?

I would get a AAA book or go online to www.aaa.com and look at Siesta Key accomodations.

I would also look at Lido Key if you would like to be near St. Armands Circle.

I can%26#39;t comment on the Turtle Beach Resort.

Perhaps there are some postings here on tripdvisor to give you some advice.

There are places like the Palm Bay Club on Siesta Key which are also nice.
