I read about a YMCA water park in the forum, but can%26#39;t find any more information. Is it open to tourists or just members? Where is it located? Thanks for the help.
YMCA water park
There are 3 branches of the YMCA in Sarasota.
The one you are after is The Selby Aquatic Center and Water Playgroun and Evalyn Sadlier Jones Branch. Their address is 8301 Potter Drive, tel no: 941 922 9622.
It doesnt say in their brochure whether you have to be a member or not. They do do Short Term Rates, for daily, weekly and monthly memberships.
They also have an outdoor climing facility at this branch.

YMCA water park
The YMCA on Potter Park is located off US 41 (Tamiami Trail) and Central Sarasota Pkwy.
It is quite nice and large.
