First time visitor

We%26#39;ve just returned from our first visit to Orlando (2 adults %26amp; 2 kids 12/11) and there%26#39;s a couple of things I%26#39;d like to mention.

Virgin Premium Economy was dissappointing, delays both ways (cleaners fault apparently) and two screens/earphones not working on both flights. Staff were nice though.

Stayed at Emerald Island Resort, booked through Villadirect.com, absolutely perfect -lovely villa 10 mins. from Disney.

Completely blown away by the whole thing, the Americans are terrific people (not just waiting staff) and couldn%26#39;t do enough for us.

The parks have all been covered but I%26#39;d say Discovery Cove is a must - superb relaxing day out (book in advance)

Best holiday ever etc. and we will be returning next year when I%26#39;ve remortgaged the house

Sounds like you, too, have been well and truly bitten by the bug!There%26#39;s no looking back now!

You%26#39;re right about the American people. For us,they make all the difference for a fantastic holiday.

Enjoy your next trip!

I am so glad that you had a good experience on our fair shores. I had the privilege of visiting the UK for just 4 days once and it is one of the highlights of my whole life. The people were just lovely there too.

We once went to Disneyworld with a group of about 30 friends and family. We had the whole side of one level of the WDW All-Star Movies hotel except for one room right in the middle. Those poor souls were a couple from the UK in their early 40%26#39;s and their only daughter -- they were absolutely surrounded by all of us. It would be like having to pass through a heard of very excited labrador retriever puppies every time they had to go anywhere. We told them to knock on our door any time day or night if we - or our kids - were being disruptive. But they were great fun and joined our evening chats out on the walkway. I think of them fondly every time I remember that trip.

Have indeed.

Forgot to mention two other things.

England football shirts everywhere, what a pain in the a**e.

Epcot%26#39;s Great Britain world - unbelievable - pub full to the rafters with football shirts (why leave England?), souvenier shop stuffed with shortbread, Princess Di bits and pieces (yawn)and Beefeater Gin. Give it a miss.

Yes,God forbid that the football shirt crowd take over. The Americans(and the rest of us)will rue the day!

When you read post like the above it makes me wonder even more, why Dsney built Euro Disney in France(Paris)

I have come to the conclusion that the Busch Company had been giving the Disney directors free beer that day, it must have had reduced prifits somewhat cos they sure got them well drunk.

Glad to see you enjoyed your trip. We%26#39;ve been countless times over the last 3 years in Virgin Premium and to be honest the first time we were late was last trip so I suspect it was an isolated incident.

Alos glad to see you chose a villa! Extrordinary value for money when you look at resort and hotel prices. We always go with private villas rather than through the big booking sites though - never been disappointed.

A couple of tips we have found useful - look for a villa with all inclusive pricing. That way you don%26#39;t get charged for the cot and the BBQ and whatever else isn%26#39;t included!

Watch for those that try to lure you in with a very cheap price and then try to charge for pool heating in June!

Ensure that the distance from Disney is feasible! So many villas are only 10 minutes from Disney when you own a Ferrari and there are no traffic cops!

Anyway - glad you%26#39;re bitten by the bug - enjoy your next trip!
