Port Orleans Riverside - Which Rooms

We will be staying here in late June, and I think it is now sold out.

I hear about long walks to the buses, rustic vs another type of room. Noise levels, distance to ';fancy'; pool.

Where is the parking is in relation to the rooms(I assume you carry your own luggage to the room)

Can people comment on which ';building'; to request, and why they would choose that.

I have 5 %26amp; 8 yr old boys who have lots of energy (Parents not as much, but still in shape).

I%26#39;ve been investigating P.O. as well for a possible fall trip and found a website that answered some of my questions. Maybe it will help you too.

I%26#39;m sure there are plenty of P.O.R. veterans on this forum that will help with advise.

go to page 2 to see a map of the resort complex.

You might want Alligator Bayou Bldg 14 to be closest to everything (parking, bus, pool, restaurants, etc) bldgs 15 and 18 are OK too. But some folks really prefer the Mansion bldgs. to the Alligator Bayou buildings - the room layout is the same, it%26#39;s just the decor that is different.

We stayed in Magnolia Terrace (bldg 85) which had great transportation access, but you had to cross ol%26#39; man%26#39;s island to get to the restaurant - which was a lovely stroll. Our non-smoking room was very clean and very nice. I fell in love with this resort and we%26#39;ve stayed at several Disney resorts.

Hi

We stayed here last August in Building 17 which was right next to a quiet pool, car parking was a 30second walk away, and to walk to the bus stop for the transport to the parks was a lovely 5 min walk. That is part of the charm is the setting so nice to walk in and chill, We had a great time here and found everyone very helpful and friendly, make sure you check out '; Bob'; the piano man in the bar he is excellant fun for all the family
