Character dining for adults?

My husband and I are both 30-somethings and we LOVE Disney. I have booked several dinner and lunch days thru priority seating. Several are character lunches/dinners. I think this will be a blast for us, but wonder if we will be the ONLY ones without children?

You MAY be the only ones without children, but that won%26#39;t make any difference at all. Good for you that you still have the ability to enjoy the fantasy and fun that Disney has to offer. Hope you have a great time!

Hey, my sister and I are both ';over 40'; and we are both doing several character meals on our September trip with no children too.

After all, we%26#39;re only ';over 40'; in body, not mind and spirit!!

The topic ';Character Dining for Adults'; conjures up images of people dressed up in Rat Pack costumes and as Marilyn Monroe and maybe even Elvis and Brad Pitt and Angela Jolie, lol!

If someone gave me and my wife free tickets to a Disney character dinner and we didn%26#39;t have kids and it would just be us two, we%26#39;d go in a minute.

smile...you guys are a riot! My husband%26#39;s family is in the construction business and today my husband told all of his ';men'; that work for him, he is going to see Cinderella! HA! They had a good laugh out of that! I am so excited about this trip. We have been several times, but I love it more each time!

Most likely, you will be having more fun. No crying kids, no pressure for your child to get there picture with their favorite character. I%26#39;m actually very jealous!.

I can tell you that I love the Hoop De Doo Review. My kids have to fight me to get the washboard and spoon away, so they can make music too.

Enjoy parisinthfall, enjoy watching the characters interact with the children and don%26#39;t forget to get your picture taken also! So, which character meals did you book?

No, you will not be the only ones there without children. I have never been to WDW with kids, and I always go to character meals. They are alot of fun!

We;ve got 3 character meals booked for our forthcoming trip - not for the characters, just cos we fancied the restaurants. However, I%26#39;m dying to see how my sons (early teens) will react to the characters - will it be %26#39;uncool%26#39; or will they forget their age and act as excited as they used to. Anyway, whatever they do I know I will revert to being a big kid again!!

We go to several character meals every time we come to WDW and we don%26#39;t have kids - we certainly don%26#39;t feel uncomfortable and the characters pay just as much attention to us as to the tables with children - have a great time!

No worries paris! It%26#39;s just hubby %26amp; I and we did Liberty Tree Tavern. He was giving me a really hard time about it and calling it stupid and why are we going, blah blah blah. WELL, his face lit up when he saw Chip %26amp; Dale; I have his picture with every character that night; we spent the rest of our vacation seeking out other characters for him to get his picture with (not on the original schedule); AND when we booked our trip for this year, he said ';I%26#39;d like to go back to that place we had dinner';..... LMAO! And he%26#39;s 48! You%26#39;ll definitely be in the minority but won%26#39;t be the only ones %26amp; you%26#39;ll have just as much fun as the families!
