1. If you go to the website for the Orlando Airport, under the taxi section, there%26#39;s a link to Yellow Cab where they have a fare estimator. You can either select your departure and arrival points from a drop down menu or enter specific addresses, and get a good idea of what a cab will cost you.

2. The nearest Walmart would be at the intersection of John Young Parkway and Sand Lake Road, about half way between I-Drive and the Florida Mall.

3. Florida Mall is at the intersection of Sand Lake Road and the Orange Blossom Trail. It%26#39;s the only major mall I%26#39;m aware of on Sand Lake Road itself. Mall at Millenia is also nearby.

Your hotel is near the intersection of Universal Blvd. and Sand Lake. To get to either Florida Mall or Walmart, you will go east on Sand Lake until you reach either John Young Parkway (Walmart), or drive just past Orange Blossom Trail to the Florida Mall entrance. To get to Mall at Millenia, go north on Universal Blvd. until it dead ends at Vineland Road. Turn right. Take Vineland Road to Conroy Road (about a mile). Turn right on Conroy, and the mall is just over the I-4 overpass. If you prefer to take I-4, you can go north on Universal Blvd. to the eastbount I-4 entrance. Take the Conroy Road exit and turn right on Conroy Road. The mall will be right in front of you.

wont be driving a car out there so it will either be on foot or using public transport. is it far to walk from my hotel or am i best using i-ride or taxi?

You won%26#39;t be able to walk to either one. You can check golynx.com to see if the Lynx bus runs across Sand Lake Road. Otherwise, it would have to be a taxi. The I-Ride Trolley runs quite a distance north and south, but it doesn%26#39;t do much from east to west, so it wouldn%26#39;t help you getting to Walmart or Florida Mall.
