Hi - will be at the Radisson (now Wyndham) for Easter weekend and all the next week for a conference.
Is this area considered safe for jogging in the evenings? Also saw one post about construction forcing pedestrians on the street. Is this still in work?
Radisson/Wyndham - Downtown area
There is some construction there. The positive side is that the Wyndham is right on the river and South Bank River Walk. People are strolling or jogging there quite a bit. You%26#39;ll be close to restaurants such as Morton%26#39;s Steakhouse, The Chart House, and what we feel is the best restaurant in Jacksonville, The Wine Cellar. And you%26#39;re only a couple of minutes from Ruth%26#39;s Chris.
I think you%26#39;ll be fine jogging on the RiverWalk, but I wouldn%26#39;t do this very late at night. The %26#39;Downtown%26#39; areas (and the Wyndham is fairly close) just literally shuts down at night, so do your jogging earlier in the evening when people are out and about.
