what options are there for shuttles or car services?

Josh - I really am not aware of shuttles or car services unless your hotel offers one. Your best bet may be to rent a car as a taxi from the airport to Amelia Island will be quite expensive. Have you checked with the Ritz Carlton to see if they have a shuttle? I%26#39;m sorry I can%26#39;t give you a definitive answer. There is an information kiosk in the airport that might have additional info, but that would be a bit late to find out the information you need. I guess you could take your chances and if they don%26#39;t have anything to offer you could bite the bullet and call a taxi. Hopefully some of our other Jacksonville people will have a better answer for you.
Welcome to Jacksonville. You are going to adore the Ritz Carlton, and the weather here right now is absolutely wonderful. My suggestion...rent a car and then when (and if) you have some free time you can go into Fernandina (just a few minutes from Amelia) and have a nice time there.
