So if you won the lottery, where would you stay in Key West?

Just wondering, if money were not an issue (dreaming again!), where would you stay in Key West, and why???

i would buy the upper deck of the schooner wharf. I would have a great view, Mike mccloud to listen to and I could even walk down and get a cigar if I felt like it. Only problem is I would have to walk next door to get food. Never eating there again.

If I won the lottery, and it was a substantial amount (hey, I win $5 all the time! :-) ) I would BUY a house down there! And in Destin, and in Vero Beach... and so on! :-) Or at least a condo! Ahhh, it is nice to dream!

My husband would say we%26#39;d by the Dewey House in Key West! Although I don%26#39;t think the Southernmost Resorts would want to sell...

I like hotels rather than B%26amp;B%26#39;s. So I would probably take 5 trips and stay in each of the 5 hotels at the north end of Duval then pick my favorite for any trips I take after that. I%26#39;m actually pretty partial to the Pier House so I would probably end up there, just in a better room or a suite. Kind of like the adage ';I%26#39;m still the same person, I just drive a better car.'; lol

I would stay at the same ole place - the Pier House - but in the Hemingway Suite. I%26#39;d probably have a few more beers, though.

We%26#39;d buy our house, renovate the tiny kitchen and add in an outdoor staircase to the upper deck.

I don%26#39;t like larger hotels, so I%26#39;d probably spring for the nicest room at the Gardens Hotel. I used to think I wanted to retire to Key West, but now even IF I won the Lotto, I don%26#39;t think I would. Too many cool days in the winter. I need to be further south....

I%26#39;m with Jeanh! I%26#39;d stay in the Gardens Hotel and snooze the days away next to that sparkling pool!

I would winter in Key West, and summer in Vancouver BC. With that kind of money, the details really wouldn%26#39;t matter.

I would stay at one of my three favourites The Best Western Hibiscus, the Southermost or the Blue Marlin. Eat at all the best restaurants and pay someone to do my laundry. Bliss no housework, no cooking and cleaning up after and no laundry.

Won the lottery?

Well... The tours at Hemingway%26#39;s House would come to a dramtic end cause I wouldn%26#39;t want all those people walking on my lawn or making off with the silverware.

BTW.... How do ya like my lighthouse across the street?
