Anyone with a family of 5 or more......

I have a question for you. About how much did you spend in Orlando? We%26#39;re planning on staying for 6 days and I need to budget my money for this trip. If we ate offsite(royal pacific), spent very little on anything except neccesaties(food,etc), how cheap could i make this trip, LOL. It%26#39;s me, hubby, a 14yr.old, 6 yr. old, and 4 yr old. we already have tickets through the royal pacific, so thats taken care of. HELP!!

I would budget a minimum of $30 per day, per person, for food. Obviously, the little ones won%26#39;t use quite that much, but the adults and teen may use slightly more, so it will even out. I figure on $5 for breakfast, $10 for lunch and $15 for dinner, which makes the $30. If you have a refrigerator in your room, you can go to the grocery and have some breakfast food in your room, which will save you money. I figure for a minimum, you would need to budget around $900 total for food.

Are you driving your own car? Gasoline down here is pushing the $3 per gallon mark, so you%26#39;ll need to allow for that. From the Royal Pacific to Disney is about 10 miles one way, depending on what part of Disney you are going to. Even if you spend all your time in the Universal theme parks, you may want to leave Universal property if you%26#39;re in search of cheaper food. So figure on using at least one full tank of gasoline just driving around Orlando, in addition to what you will use on the road.

Other than that, it%26#39;s just a matter of whether you want to budget a set amount for recreation or souvenirs.

we were at disney june 05 family of 5 kids 14,12 (boys) and a girl of 7 we spent about 100 dollars a day on food and drink because that was our budget ,we had plenty to eat. we had stuff your face breakfast then snacks during the day and a cheap meal (steak /pizza etc) in the evening , i wouldn`t bother paying for a meal for your 4 yr old there will be plenty to share !! in the theme parks buy the refillable drink bottle
