Airport to Westgate Lakes transportation help!!!!

My wife and I are going to Orlando in a month. We want to do it all without renting a car. Westgate told me that they have shuttles that go to all the parks for a fee, but they don%26#39;t have one going to and from the airport. I have two questions.

What is the cheapest way to get from the airport to Westgate Lakes?

How much does the suttle from Westgate to the different parks cost?

If you want to go to Westgate Lakes, it is best to rent a car. On a map, it may look close to International Drive and all those attractions, but in reality it is across I-4 and not within any reasonable walking distance of International Drive. Besides a hospital and a post office, there is nothing within walking distance of the resort.

What about going from the Airport to Westgate Lakes? What are my options?

You would need to go with a taxi or perhaps check with Mears transportation (enter Mears in the Orlando forum search and there should be some information). Someone else may know another service or option, but this is all I%26#39;m coming up with. Check user reviews for the resort on TA and someone may have posted info on how much the resort to park shuttles cost.

Although you could check it by yourself at www.golynx.com, I don%26#39;t believe the route from the Orlando International Airport to your resort is included in the bus schedule. This would have been the cheapest. This, unfortunately, leaves you with the next best option which would be a regular taxi and it will probably cost you around $30-35 each way. maybe other contributors could come with more ideas.

In connection to your second question (shuttles and cost), I think Westgate itself could answer to this in a more accurate manner. Have you visited their web page yet?

it cost a lot of money they do have a shuttle but it%26#39;s $13 a person to some places get this for a taxi we were at epcot and took a cab to magic kingdom and it cost us $20 and they%26#39;re not even 5 miles apart and westgate from the airport is about 15 to 20 miles apart so go figure you might need to rent a car for all the taxis you%26#39;ll need
