Three ladies from London, heading for South Beach - where...

Girl%26gt;

You%26#39;re off to a good start. Save on the room - spend on the SHOES!! hahahhahaa!

The location on South Beach is central to EVERYTHING. You need no car and there is great eating and shopping just steps away...

Memorial Day is HIP HOP weekend in South Beach so all of the clubs are going to be thumping! This article snippet is from the Miami Times 2005 recap...

';Miami Beach was the place to be last weekend as nearly 250,000 people took part in the Memorial Day weekend festivities on the beach. The four-day, three-night hip-hop party on South Beach left thousands of revelers vowing to come back next year. “I’ve never seen so many rappers and celebrities in one place at one time outside of a concert. South Beach was definitely what it was hyped up to be,” said Myanda Jackson, who traveled from Washington, D.C. for the weekend. The weekend’s fun and festivities started Friday night with clubs and hotels opening their doors to hip-hop and R%26amp;B lovers to begin their fun filled weekend.';

If you want to take a 25 cent shuttle ride anywhere else - here is the guide:

And here are some walking and shopping maps to print to get the girls JAZZED UP planning your adventures!

North of your hotel, between 16 and 17th and Washington there is a more laid back pedestrian mall on Miami Beach called Lincoln Road. You could take the girls there day or night to shop and stroll and have a bite at a cute sidewalk cafe and an ice cream at the FRIEZE on Michigan afterward. There is a cool Chinese place just off the mall on Meridian called Miss Yip%26#39;s that might be nice for the girls to order some dishes to share... SPRIS for pizza. Johnny Rockets for 50s diner type cheeseburgers etc. There is an 18 plex theater at the west end of the mall that might be fun for an evening or late afternoon at the movies. After the movies check out Alton Road, find PIOLA for pizza or LIME for Mexican or YUMMY for Chinese...

Quick Picks for easy sidewalk dining:

*For casual Cuban Dining, try Lincoln Rd Cafe (943 Lincoln).

*Crispy pizza and amazing fried calamari at SPRIS (731 Lincoln).

*Upscale Italian at Da Leo (819 Lincoln).

*Thai %26amp; Sushi at World Resources or Sushi Siam (647 Lincoln).

*Just a slice to go at Pizza Rustica (667 Lincoln).

Close to your hotel - at 2/Collins, check out Big Pink at 157 Collins for a casual breakfast or a reasonable bite until 5am weekends. The place serves giant portions, has a full bar and has indoor %26amp; outdoor seating.

There is a Starbucks coffee at that same corner on Ocean Drive for a quick pick me up.

And if you%26#39;re interested in a FAB Sunday brunch or a special dinner - check out Nemo on 1/Collins... amazing food.

Some bars charge a cover fee to get in the door and some don%26#39;t charge ladies dressed to party. It%26#39;s rather random.

Here is a link to copy into your browser with club info.

You can search particular clubs on this site, or via google, or on

Many are within blocks of your hotel - close enough to get there and back even in heels or after cocktails - but the hotel will not be too noisy for you to ';recover...';

A lot of celebrities the girls like have bought winter places in Miami - if they would like a STARS HOUSE TOUR - that%26#39;s a possibility...

There are a couple of GIANT outlet malls in South Florida where a girl can go crazy without spending all her folks%26#39; money. The malls have a few fun restaurants nearby so you might want to plan a day of shopping and lunch...

www.shopdolphinmall.com

www.sawgrassmillsmall.com

Sawgrass Mills is a GREAT day trip for the serious bargain hunter.

Approach the mall from the Red Snapper Entrance (near the Oasis Dining outpost) and you%26#39;re going to find discount outlets for Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Ave, DKNY, Lauren, GAP, Banana Republic etc.

And the motor coaches to drive you there:

Miami Shuttles

Sawgrass Express (305) 651-7196

Bravo Transportation (305) 496-5669

Genesis Bus Service (305) 956-2839

Super Shuttle (305) 871-2000

Express Shuttle (305) 947-1911

That should get you started - huh?

As to spending money? Not sure your habits... Breakfast is included in the room at the hotel so that%26#39;s a savings. There are plenty of casual cafes to grab a sandwich and eat on the beach. Drinks can be pricey at the velvet rope clubs so you might consider buying a little of whatever you like to drink to keep in the fridge in your room to warm up before going out.

You are going to have a GREAT TIME!!
