Christmas Dinner

Hi, wonder if someone can help? We are flying to orlando on the 23rd of december, there are 4 adults and 3 children. I am trying to find out if there is anywhere we can go for christmas dinner, if possible, would rather not have to cook!! We are staying at Hampton Lake Villas. Thanks.

While some independent restaurants will be closed on Christmas Day, all of the theme park and hotel restaurants are open on Christmas Day. It%26#39;s a good idea to make reservations as far ahead as possible, because restaurants get booked up quickly by visitors and locals. Do a search of the forum for restaurant suggestions, or let us know what type of food you like, and we%26#39;ll stear you in the right direction.

You should find this on any hotel restaurant menu. Most of them limit their usual menu choices and focus on the typical holiday meal (I would imagine because of kitchen space). Since Hampton Lake Villas is near the intersection of Highways 27 and 192, I would book a reservation at one of the Disney resorts for your dinner. You will be able to book it in July, so you have time to decide which one you want to go to, and whether you want to do table service or buffet. You can look on the website allearsnet.com, where they still have the Christmas 2005 information for dining. It will give you a good idea what will be available and approximate prices.

If your looking for a traditional Turkey dinner in one of the Disney parks that is also a character meal the Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom has a delicious one!

Sounds great, and the kids will enjoy it as well. Will look into it . Thanks. Also, whilst I am on, what is the weather like end of december, beginning of January.

We have had many Christmas visits and the weather is unpredictable but generally cool so be sure to bring long pants and jackets for the evenings. The pools are well heated though so even though the air is cool we still enjoy swimming as the water is very warm.

Oh and all table service dining books well in advance during Christmas week so book 180 days in advance to guarantee a table. All table restaurants were booked during our last visit.
