Fishing exursion from Marriott Hutchinson

Hi. We are staying at the Marriott Hutchinson Island at the end of March. My middle school age children are avid lake fisherman and very excited about the possibility of ocean fishing. Does anyone have any insights or suggestions for a chartered day trip from Hutchinson Island?

Also, we were looking for quiet ocean beaches after a front end trip in Orlando. I do hope to be away from Spring Breakers and think this is the right spot to do that. Would anyone confirm for me?

Thanks!

Stuart is NOT a Spring Break destination. It is more known for the older people that want to reside here in the winter months. It is a beautiful City. Try not to travel the main highway (known as these names: US1, SR5, Federal Highway) as the congestion at times can just totally frustrate you. Our family always fishes at the Fort Pierce Inlet about 30 minutes North. There is also good fishing near the Roosevelt Bridge area. I can%26#39;t say for further out. As far as quiet beaches, Hutchison Island is the right place...at the south tip is Bathtub beach and it is well liked. Good Luck.

What was the private beach at the Marriott like? Did they provide loungers and umbrellas? How busy was the hotel? Did you do golf or tennis onsite, and if so, did you have trouble booking times? My boyfriend and I are going there for five days in May and I want to know how much pre-planning vs. winging it to do.

To lammerman visiting in May, a fun excursion is the Island Princess which cruises to a few different places each day and gives you lunch to boot. We take our out of town guests on the trip to see Jupiter Island and the lifestyles of the rich and famous houses. Greg Norman, Tiger, and Ralph Lauren all have houses that you can see from the boat.

Boat also has good bloody marys--enjoy your vacation.
