Help Healin1 or Kat-cubs-fan!

I need help determining when to make dinner reservations at the Garden Grill at Epcot. For example, when the calender says Future World closes at 7pm , but World Showcase does not close until 9pm, when is the actual Illumination Firework Show. We would like to make dinner reservations with enough time to get a good spot for the show.

Any help would be appreciated.

Illuminations is at 9:00 P.M. every night. This has been the case since the shows inception years ago.

Many things inside Future World actually stay open until 9:00 too.

You%26#39;ll really enjoy Epcot, I believe.

Be sure to get a Fast Pass for Soarin%26#39; as soon as you get to the park, if you don%26#39;t plan on riding it right away.

It is fabulous...just not near long enough!!

The Garden Grill does a nice job of getting your food served quickly since there are no menu%26#39;s. The characters come around in abundance so everyone has plenty of time for pictures. Plan on about an hour for dinner and photo opportunites. A great place to watch Illuminations is from the Rose and Crown Pub are in the United Kingdom. Just be careful you don%26#39;t end up with a tree in front of you!

healin1:My daughter met Chip at the Cape May character breakfast and she loved the little guy. Her only request this year was to see both Chip n Dale , so we thought we would try the Character meal at the Garden Grill. No menu?? Is it kind of like the Spirit of Aloha dinner where they just keep bringing food to your table?

FYI - Illuminations is not always at 9:00. In December, when the Candlelight Processional is being presented, Illuminations was pushed back to 9:30, so it wouldn%26#39;t be presented during the Processional. It is always a good idea, regardless of when you are going to Disney, to check out the calendar to make sure there aren%26#39;t any last minute changes. There are also those occasional times when the park will close early to accommodate a press event or private party.
