Hi, i%26#39;m planning to travel to Orlando on november 18, i realized that is the thanksgiving day week, so i wonder how busy the parks are on this week, does the price rise for this reason? how is the weather and the lines to the attractions on november?
maybe i will have to delay my trip one week, also where can i buy things on Orlando? is there any big mall reccomendation or a bestbuy store? i want to buy electronics.
i plan to go to the next theme parks:
1) Disney magic kingdom (sunday)
2) Disney epcott center (Monday)
3) Disney MGM Studios (Tuesday)
4) Disney Animal Kingdom (Wednesday)
5) Adveture island (thursday)
6) Universal Studios (Friday)
Any tips, are the days fine?, it%26#39;s possible to enter with food into the theme parks?
How about November for visit Orlando?Thanksgiving week (really from Nov. 18th till Nov. 26th) will be very busy in Orlando. Lots of crowds that week at the theme parks, and lodging prices will be high.
If you can delay until after Nov. 26th, you find much more accomodating crowds and probably cheaper lodging.
Also, try to arrange for going to Magic Kingdom on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (avoid Sat., Sun., and Mon.). These are the ';best'; days for that particular park as far as crowds go.
Technically, you are not supposed to bring outside food into Disney parks, but no one seems to ever be stopped. Lots of folks do this.
How about November for visit Orlando? If you could wait a week for your trip, you will be much happier. We always go the weekend after T-giving. What a difference in crowds! Plus, the weather is still warm enough to swim!
If you do go that week before T-giving, I would suggest MGM for a Saturday or no park at all. The weekends are crazy at the parks, especially if it%26#39;s during a holiday! If you decide to postpone a week, AK or MGM would be good for a weekend. We usually do AK on Sunday- no long lines, etc. I think I read that the best days for Magic Kingdom are Tues or Thursday. I definitely think the week after T-giving will make a world of difference in your trip to Orlando!
Thank you very much for your advice it was very helpfull, i definitly will move my trip for november 25 to december 1.
Also i will change Magic Kingdom visit for tuesday and on sunday i will go to MGM Studios instead. :)
Hi. We have been in November. It is a very good month. Not crowded. Just little rainy a few days -not all the day- not much sun -ligth cloudy-,not to hot, and the best, NOT LONG LINES TO WAIT. But don麓t go for Thanksgiving weekend. I was there in the second week of November.
You must go to Florida Mall. It is a fashion mall. Surround there, it is a Best buy shop. I recommend also the Outlets.
But, I recommend a car to move from Disney area to the malls and outlets. Cabs very expensive.
Hi,
I have been the week of Thanksgiving. We are going back this year as well. I love it during this week. The days before Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) are the least crowded. I found that the most crowded park on the Thursday was the Magic Kingdom.
I%26#39;m still deciding on staying at the park or outside the park and be able to do more and see more places.
We are not flying this time, but taking a road trip all the way from NH!
Hello alucard,
I didn%26#39;t read everyone%26#39;s response so if I repeat some of the same information I apologize.
November is a great time to visit for crowd levels with the exception of Thanksgiving week so prepare yourself for large crowds, make a list of must do%26#39;s and utilize your fast pass options for attractions you don%26#39;t want to miss. And yes if you have the opportunity to delay the trip until the week after Thanksgiving that%26#39;s the way to go.
Weather is generally great low 80%26#39;s with little rainfall.
Your itnerary looks good with the Magic Kingdom day on Sunday I would switch that to Tuesday - Thursday.
Technically Disney does not allow food into the parks with the exception of light snacks and water.
Meant to say with the exception of your Magic Kingdom day.
went to animal kingdom a year and a half ago the same day you did and the there really wasn%26#39;t that much of a line at all... I thought it was great. We past passed the safari and pretty much just waited a reasonable amount of time for the rest...
Going to islands of adventure on thanksgiving is well, tricky. On one hand, poeple could be with their familes, on the other hand... they go in the morning and leave for thanksgiving dinner. Also you have to remember that there are other forgeiners around who do not celebrate thanksgiving.
Friday will be crowded at all of the parks. Mainly because you have locals who have family in town who want to go to the theme parks as well. I would come the week after. Do the exact same schedule Except switch MGM and MK. Less lines, nice weather and before the holiday season gets started!
The florida mall is large a best buy is near it. There is also an outlet mall on I drive.
Early November there is The Festival of the Masters, a juried art show in DTD. You%26#39;ll miss the Christmas decorations and entertainment though. Always something missed and something gained!
