Any recommendations for a beach house, minimum 2 bedroom/2 full baths, with a pool that is ocean front. Would the gulf side or the bay side be safer for children to swim in?

We are planning on going August 2007.
We prefer the beach side, esp. this time of year. Holmes beach has some really nice stretches of beach, and there are a few really nice places. Try Beach Palms, (www.beachpalms.com) or go to one of the rental agencies to rent a duplex. We like the duplexes better as they are a bit more spacious and private. We stayed at one that was really well equipped and only a short stroll to a great beach with shade trees and benches. Try www.asunnyspot.com Also you can get more info at www.amisland.com Have Fun!
