The Mummy ride

Can someone tell me whether this ride in orlando is the same as the one in LA. we were in line for the one in Orlando and the ride broke down but the girls we were with were saying about how amazing it was, when i eventually got to ride it in LA i wasnt so impressed. Is it the exact same ride, because i know that the jurassic park ride is some what different in LA than Orlando.

If i remember correctly the one in LA goes backwards at the end .Not to spoil anyones ride the Mummy in Orlando doesn%26#39;t do this. I think they had a lot more space to build the ride in.

But it does go backwards at some point - just can%26#39;t remember when!

Doen%26#39;t it go backwards and turn round near to the start of the ride after the chamber bit and before you shoot off !!

You could well be right there.... good ride, although it should be noted I%26#39;m a non-coaster fan %26amp; loved it - so obviously quite tame!

i am a coaster fan and loved it so it must appeal to a whole spectrum of people!!! Probably because it%26#39;s different to everything else and suprises you if you are riding it for the first time.

worth the wait - even better if you don%26#39;t wait and use the single rider queue!!!! :)

well i remember it going backwards in LA but is that it though??? they mentioned something about the scarabs chasing you, i know this desnt happen in LA

We thought the one in Orlando was better as it is built in a lot bigger space. Only ridden twice on the one in LA so its hard to remember properly . You only go backwards on the Orlando one to turn round really and then shoot off to a coaster ride.If I remember correctly you seem to go backwards at the end of the other one over the track you have already come over.

when we went on jurrasic park this year the %26#39;scenery/props %26#39; had been changed a bit.

PS scarabs are in the ride. thought they were at the end in LA.

don%26#39;t want to say too much though as it may spoil the surprise!!

Oh good, thanks Arizona for the info. I am glad they updated the scenery on the Jurassic Park ride. I will be there in 3 weeks and love to see something new.

yeah i still preffered the jurassic park in orlando, but thanks a lot for the info everyone, i%26#39;ll now ride it!
