Anna Maria Cottages or Bungalow Beach Resort

Looking for some advice on best place to stay on Anna Maria Island over Labor Day. I thought Anna Maria Cottages or Bungalow Beach Resort seemed like good options but would love any advice or suggestions. Basically want someplace clean, very nice, updated accomodations and must be within walking distance to the beach. Hopefully right on the beach (have 3 kids under 11) and some family restaurants close by. I thought Anna Maria sounded like a good choice based on other people%26#39;s reviews but open to other islands nearby. Thanks for any help !

Anna Maria Cottages or Bungalow Beach Resort

You should post this on Bradenton or the Anna Maria Island forums. Longboat Key is further south and a totally different area. Ask about any pipes or other leftover beach renourishment things left on the beach. It%26#39;s unsightly to downright unsafe.

Anna Maria Cottages or Bungalow Beach Resort

Anna Maria Cottages are cute and nice but they are across the street from the Bungalow. My vote would be the Bungalows, they are upscale and decorated really nicely. They are right on the beach and in a good location, the guys who own it are very nice too. It is my understanding that the pipes are being removed now, you could check with the guys at the Bungalow Beach Resort and they will tell you. Other choices on the beach would be Cedar Cove, Coconuts or Sandle Pepple. Of all these I think the Bungalows are the nicest. HAve fun

I don%26#39;t know why that second post was removed, but it suggested trying the Sarasota forum as well.
