We are going to Sanibel next Wednesday July 19th. We have had a heckuva time finding ';the place'; to stay as we are not doing the Saturday to Saturday stay and also only 5 nights. We also have been scared of that darn red tide. Anyway we are staying at Oceans Reach, walkout 2 bedroom unless we get ran off by the red tide. Anyone down that way please let me know !!
Phew, finally a decisionCongratulations! GrandmaMac was very complimentary about those condos and she and I seem to have very similar %26#39;good%26#39; taste.;-)
Red tide is getting broken up by the rains that are happening this week and mostly down toward Naples. Given your condo location, you should be in good shape, but you can always go up toward Bowman%26#39;s Beach or Blind Pass if any problems crop up. I read just yesterday that Sanibel had only low levels around the southern end of the island. Captiva was not affected.
