Pirate Dinner

Someone on this sight mentioned a Pirate Dinner and said it was fantastic. Can someone please tell me what %26amp; where this is?

Pirate Dinner

The Pirate Dinner is located at 6400 Carrier Dr. 407-248-0590. It is tucked in between numerous hotels. We found it when we were staying at a hotel down the street. There are discount coupons in all the fun books.

What it is..It is a Dinner show, but unlike the other sappy one%26#39;s, this is a Pirate Show. There is a huge ship, water, pirates swinging from the ceilings etc. They gather small kids together, dress them up, put them on a boat and take them around the theater. It is not a bright happy place. It is dark, and loud. Cannon%26#39;s go off, Pirates fall from the high sails, etc. Before the show, there are vendors selling tattoos, face painting, fortune tellers, a full bar, and other things. After the show, the lobby turns into a Disco type of place where kids get up and start dancing. The pirates come out and pose for pics.

I wouldn%26#39;t recommend it for very small children. We have yet to let our five year old go. I first took my son at seven. It is still his favorite place and he is now ten. We go every couple of months.

The food is not great, but the show makes up for it.

Thanks ariesfire. I%26#39;m glad that you told me it isn%26#39;t good for small kids. One of my sons is only 4. It%26#39;s a shame thought, my 9 year old would probably have loved it and we are traveling with another family that has teenagers. Can anyone recommend another dinner show then?

I would think thta your 4 year old would love the show. I think if your child was only a toddler (1/2/3) then they might not enjoy it but the show is designed for kids so a child of 4 should love it.

gailjon,

Thanks for your input. So, you%26#39;ve been to the Pirate Dinner then? Did you enjoy it? Did you have children with you? How old?

Thanks,

abc,

I went into TA and read the recent reviews. There was a positive review in June from someone with a five year old who said there child loved the show so much, they couldn%26#39;t get them to eat.

There are some negative reviews. I really enjoy the show, which I why I give it positive reviews.

The reason I said it is not for little one%26#39;s is the dark and noise. If your children can handle things like this, then by all means, go for it.

My daughter gets scared at the movies, cried on the Winnie the pooh ride, etc. So my comments are geared toward a nervous child. I probably should have stated that in the first place.

ariesfire,

Thank you so much for responding again and for your clarification. My son is not one to scare easy. I think I will go for it then! Thanks for all the infor!
