Best seafood?

Will arrive Weds, and staying at Grand Cypress Villas. I am bringing my inlaws also, so I need a real good seafood restaurant. It doesn%26#39;t have to be an all you can eat deal, quality over quantity any day.

Best seafood?

I%26#39;m from New England and to be honest, I have yet to find a really good seafood place in Orlando. There is a Ruth%26#39;s Chris Steakhouse (very pricey), but they have a limited selection of seafood (lobster, tuna, seafood platter, as well as steak. This is were we go in Orlando to get a good Lobster. Another reasonably priced place that I consider to be good is Shells Sheafood on West Vine Street. Cape May Cafe at the Yacht and Beach club was good for a buffet, and Fultons Seafood in Disney Marketplace gets good reviews. I personally didn%26#39;t like it, but plenty of people rate is high.

Best seafood?

Thanks, even though I am not going to Disney can we still eat at Fulton%26#39;s?

Yes,. Fultons is located in the Downtown Disney Marketplace. (near the convention center) It%26#39;s an old Riverboat, you can%26#39;t miss it.

FishBones (by I-Drive and also in Lake Mary), Bonefish Grill, MoonFish, and McCormick %26amp; Schmick%26#39;s are other choices; FishBones by I-Drive had the best shrimp scampi I%26#39;ve ever had, though its been a few years. There%26#39;s also a Dixie Crossroads branch at Festival Bay on I-Drive; the original Dixie Crossroads is a very popular local place near the coast in Titusville, known for their rock shrimp. BlackFin was the critic%26#39;s and people%26#39;s choice for best seafood in Orlando per the Orlando Sentinel, but it was closed down, remodeled, and is now Beluga; don%26#39;t know how it compares to BlackFin. It is in Winter Park Village, on the north side of Orlando.

EddieK,

I didn%26#39;t know about the place near Titusville. We live not to far from there. I will have to check it out.

Thanks

McKormick and Schmick%26#39;s has a great reputation (sorry about the spelling). Shell%26#39;s is good also, very casual. Both are chain restaurants, but pretty good. If anyone can find some that are not chains, I would love to hear about it.

Here%26#39;s another enthusiastic vote for Dixie Crossroads.

Eddie,

When I told Lamar they had opened a location in Orlando, his eyes lit up like Xmas lights and he said, ';Well, I know where we%26#39;ll be eating lunch on our transition day.';

Hello Kh971,

Here%26#39;s another choice to add to your list. Todd English%26#39;s Bluezoo at the Dolphin Resort and the Flying Fish Cafe at the Boardwalk. Both of these restaurants are located in the Epcot area.

My family loves ';Joe%26#39;s Crab Shack.';...wonderful Dungeness Crab! I%26#39;m not sure of the address, but it%26#39;s close to Downtown Disney Area. There is usually a wait, but you can order drinks and eat ice-cream while you wait!

Well, if your staying in a villa, I would go to Publix, and get my own fresh seafood, and cook it right there! Nothing like a cookout with friends and family, and alot cheaper. That way you would have more money to give to the mouse!
