Expedition Everest

Okay anyone ridden it yet? How is it? How would you compare it to say the train roller coaster ride at Disney?

Expedition Everest

If you%26#39;re referring to Big Thunder Mountain, Everest is a more thrilling ride for coaster enthusiasts (of which I%26#39;m not one - Thunder is more my speed). It did win ';Best New Theme Park Ride'; at Theme Park Insider.

It%26#39;s great!!! It is much more thrilling than Big Thunder Mountain. Note: it does go backward also. We did it in March when it first opened and they were even running out of Fastpasses early in the day. Things may have slowed down a little now, but I would get one as soon as I could to be sure you get a ride because it is BIG fun!

Glad to hear good reviews about Everest! I am looking forward to riding this in November! It looks like it will be a blast!

just got back yesturday and it%26#39;s a good one, it%26#39;s over before you know it so maybe ride it twice if possiable to really appreciate it, make sure you go there first thing in the am, as fast passes run out, maybe it won%26#39;t be that busy in Nov. have fun!

I agree with all of the previous posts! EE is awesome! If you are traveling with people who are not bothered by riding with strangers, you may want to consider the single rider line, it moves faster than the standby line! I was able to ride it three times within 25 minutes. My niece is 10 and very responsible so she was able to take advantage of the single rider line as well.

EE is awesome. Much smoother than Space Mountain. Not as intense as Rock n Rollercoaster. Bigger than Thunder Mountain.

Great theming and a great, smooth ride. You%26#39;ll love it!

o.k. don%26#39;t laugh!!! I am scared to death to ride EE but I promised my two sons to ';go for it'; ....I hear it%26#39;s not rough? I%26#39;ve got to psyche myself up for this one....lol

I found it intense, but good.

The in the dark and backwards part was suprising, but fun.

We did the sprint from the gate to get to it first thing in the morning. This may also be why I was not able to relax and enjoy it.

My suggestion is to send some one to get the fast passes, go do Dinosur them come back later.

The best way to get there is through the Dinosur area, arriving that way we were directed into the fast pass lineup, and got on within minuites of it opening. They are ready to the opening influx, and open up all ways to get on the ride.

Thanks neilalex, you%26#39;re in my neck of the woods!! I live in Aylmer Quebec and work in Ottawa! driving to WDW on July 22nd!! and staying in Windsor Hills condo for two weeks and taking out time coming back. Thanks for the input, I have to do this.....I was thinking of having a stiff drink before but that could backfire!!! lol
